My practice is driven by curiosity to create balance between nature and the societal pressures of modern life. Maintaining this relationship is essential for me in our increasingly desensitized world.
I’m not illustrating nature nor copying it, but rather feeling its limitless property. I expand out of my body into my work as I move into a meditative state, reconnecting to my experiences in nature where I’ve dissolved my emotional, physical, and mental boundaries to exist in a boundless balanced ecosystem. Able to create fully connected to the rhythm of my breath and heartbeat I make space for the viewer. My purpose is to create an opportunity for my audience to have the same spiritual experience observing my work as I do when making it. I do this to reveal the interconnectivity of the human soul, rooted in awe of our coexistence.
