STUDIO MANAGER AT MEL KENDRICK’S STUDIO, 735 East 9th Street Apt 9F, New York, NY, December 2020- Current

  • Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, performing and coordinating a variety of administrative duties and tasks including studio correspondence, arranging crating and shipments for all sculptures, archival work, and other exhibition preparations.

  • Projects include: Kendrick’s upcoming solo exhibition at the Addison Gallery of American Art in Andover, MA (opening in April 2021) and upcoming group exhibition at David Nolan Gallery in New York City, and an upcoming exhibition at the  Parrish Art Museum in Water Mill, NY (opening TBD)

  • Mana Contemporary provided a studio space allowing me to engage in my art practice, devoid of the commercial and social pressures of the art world.

  • Organize board meetings and record minutes

  • Oversee foundation-based projects to preserve and maintain Dorothea Rockburne’s legacy 

 

STUDIO MANAGER OF ROCKBURNE STUDIOS, 138 Grand Street Apt 2WF, New York City, NY, February  2017- February 2019

  • Executively managed Dorothea Rockburne’s studio in SoHo, NYC 

  • Projects included: oversight and support for a 5-room, 5-year installation of Rockburne’s exhibition at Dia Art Foundation, Beacon, NY • Created an educational internship program to train young artists in Rockburne’s Studio • created Dorothea Rockburne Foundation to maintain and preserve Rockburne’s legacy •  bookkeeping • support for Rockburne’s daily life and professional life

  • Collaborate with campus partners and local artists to install monthly art exhibitions at UVM’s student center
